Where Young Authors Shine!
In Early Scribes writing camps, our youth participants will embark on a thrilling adventure where they'll learn the ins and outs of crafting their very own book—from the first spark of an idea to holding the finished product in their hands.
Developed with the counsel of a team of educators, our curriculum is designed to integrate with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction's Standard Course of Study for middle school English Language Arts. Together, we'll explore the art of planning captivating plots, weaving rich narratives, refining their writing through the editing process, bringing their story to life with illustrations, and finally, sharing their masterpiece with the world through publication.
Guided by experienced mentors and surrounded by fellow young writers, they'll receive the support and encouragement needed to thrive. Together, we’ll embark on a remarkable journey of literary exploration and self-expression while cultivating a lifelong love for storytelling.
